FINANCE DIRECTOR Would you like to combine your strong financial expertise with business development and build effective solutions for the needs of a growing company in the energy sector? In this role, you will bring clear insight and a development-focused approach to leading BTB Transformers’ finance function. You will be responsible for the operational management and development of finance and for the company’s IT systems as a whole. You will develop systems together with system owners and external partners and promote the use of AI and automation. You will understand the business behind the figures and ensure that financial information supports decision-making, project profitability and growth planning. You will report to the CEO and participate in the company’s strategic work as a member of the management team. You will lead finance and back-office functions, support your team’s development and build efficient ways of working in cooperation with the wider organisation and Auroora Group. You will succeed if you have a suitable education, a strong foundation in financial administration, controlling and financial business management, and experience in developing operations. Whether you have already been responsible for a broad finance function or are ready to take on broader responsibility, we value your expertise, fresh thinking and ability to put development ideas into practice. You are analytical, practical and collaborative. You make financial information understandable, justify your views and advance change together with others. You want to ensure reliable operations and find better ways of working. You work fluently in English and Finnish and/or Swedish. Experience and insight from the energy sector or industrial projects are particularly valued. You understand how project progress, deliveries and contracts affect profitability and cash flow, and can apply this understanding to developing project accounting and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition.
