Head of Radiology

Chief of Radiology Department wanted for Eloisa to Mikkeli, Savonlinna, and Pieksämäki. The position is a permanent public service role starting 1 October 2026 or by agreement. The radiology units are located in Mikkeli and Savonlinna hospitals and Pieksämäki medical centre. You may work in one or more Eloisa radiology locations. Primary workplace is Mikkeli. We offer incentives for travel between sites outside the permanent office, including a moving allowance up to 350 euros per day. The salary is competitive. Specific salary scales: 8,656.78 €/mo for specialists without 10 years’ experience; 9,068.41 €/mo for specialists with demanding tasks and 9,480.05 €/mo for highly demanding tasks with over 10 years’ experience. In addition there are department-specific allowances (teacher allowances, on-call allowances) and possible seniority allowances under local agreements. Eloisa supports ongoing professional development and regular meetings to foster training. Opportunities exist to participate in external and international trainings. We assist with practical matters such as housing. We offer staff a 200-euro e-pass for exercise, culture, or wellbeing. Requirements: licensure under the health care professional act and radiology specialist qualification; good Finnish language skills; vaccination and health clearance per infectious diseases law; a six-month probation; application deadline via Kuntarekry.
