Afternoon activities supervisor

We are seeking instructors for Ylikylä’s afternoon club (primary school age 1st–2nd grade) after the school day. The location is Ylikylä afternoon club (Pihkaporintie 2). The role involves guiding a group of children together with other instructors in daytime activities indoors and outdoors and tasks related to snack preparation. The day program may include free play, homework, crafts, and outdoor activities. You will plan activities and collaborate with the school and home. Owning a car is helpful as instructors handle snack purchases. We offer a diverse and meaningful job with 1st–2nd grade children. You will design activities with others and use your professional skills and strengths. You will be supported by a small, active, participatory team. The shift is 12:00–17:00, average 27.5 hours/week, hours adjusted in three-month blocks. There may be once-weekly evening supervision for lower primary students (5:00–6:30 PM). The position is fixed-term and part-time. Salary is according to Neuvonta-alan TES (N2) for 27.5h/week with up to 15% experience allowance. Employee benefits include e-passi. Contract ends 4 June 2027; start as agreed but as soon as possible. Possibility of extension as camp supervisor in June 2027 and in the next school year.
