Steel Structural Welder and Sheet Metal Welder - Steelboss Oy

Steelboss Oy operates in the manufacturing and installation of steel structures. We produce and install demanding steel structures for construction projects in collaboration with clients, structural designers, and other contractors. We are seeking sheet metal welders and steel structural installers to join our team. The duties of a sheet metal welder include manufacturing steel structures in a workshop according to drawings. The work involves measuring, marking, fitting parts, MAG welding, assembly, and quality assurance. The work includes handling load-bearing steel structures, beams, columns, frames, and connection parts. The position requires the ability to read drawings, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The duties of a steel structural installer include installing steel structures at various construction sites. The work involves guiding lifts, installation, bolted connections, welding during installation, and collaborating with other site personnel. The sites may include new constructions and renovations, as well as demanding steel frame and roof structures. We expect applicants to have experience in sheet metal welding or steel structural installation, ability to read drawings, valid safety and hot work permits, welding skills and practical experience with steel structures, initiative and responsible work attitude, ability to work safely on construction sites and in workshops, good teamwork skills and flexibility. Preferred qualifications include experience with demanding steel structures, installation experience from construction sites, crane operation experience, valid welding certifications (not mandatory, but skills should be present), B-driver's license or C-driver's license (B-license is mandatory).
