We are seeking an Early Years Teacher for the Ope+ role at Pilke Liikuntapäiväkoti Hohto in Kivistö, Vantaa. The job starts in October 2026 or as agreed. The facility emphasizes physical activity in daily routines, fosters interest in movement and healthy lifestyle, and teaches a healthy, safe attitude toward one’s body and environment. The atmosphere is safe, warm, and approachable, with a focus on individual, child-centered interaction, listening, and creating a calm, affectionate climate. You will work as an Early Years Teacher in a group, with responsibilities for unit-wide pedagogical development tasks. In the Ope+ role you support children’s growth, development and learning, manage the contents of early childhood education plans, and implement them in practice. You design, assess and develop the unit’s overall pedagogical activities, ensuring high-quality pedagogy in collaboration with the leadership team. You bring a strong pedagogical approach, positive attitude, good communication skills, and genuine engagement with children. There is another teacher in the Ope+ role in the house, allowing shared tasks.
