SAP Technical Architect

Deloitte’s SAP practice helps clients design, implement, and modernize complex SAP landscapes that support critical business processes across finance, supply chain, procurement, human capital, analytics, and enterprise operations. We work with clients moving from legacy ERP environments to SAP S/4HANA, SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, and hybrid architectures where cloud, integration, data, security, and extensibility must work together as one coherent enterprise platform. Our technology work is not limited to system implementation. We help clients make architectural choices that shape the long-term scalability, resilience, security, and performance of their SAP environments. This includes defining SAP landscape strategies, integration architectures, extension approaches, cloud operating models, governance principles, and technical foundations for innovation using SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Signavio, and emerging SAP Business AI capabilities such as Joule. You will join a growing SAP community across Sweden, the Nordics, and Deloitte’s global SAP network, working closely with functional consultants, developers, enterprise architects, client IT teams, and business stakeholders to deliver complex transformation programs with confidence and quality. Role overview We are looking for an experienced SAP Technical Architect to join Deloitte’s SAP team in Stockholm. In this role, you will take a leading role in shaping the technical architecture for SAP transformation programs. You will work across SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, SAP Business Technology Platform, integration platforms, cloud infrastructure, security, performance, extensibility, and technical delivery governance. Your role will be to ensure that the SAP solution is not only functionally strong, but technically robust, scalable, secure, and aligned with the client’s enterprise architecture. You should bring deep SAP technical experience, a strong understanding of modern cloud and integration patterns, and the ability to translate business and solution requirements into practical architecture decisions. We are especially interested in candidates who can combine hands-on technical credibility with senior stakeholder communication, delivery leadership, and the ability to guide clients through complex technology choices. Responsibilities As an SAP Technical Architect, you will support clients across the solution lifecycle, from business process assessment through design, build, testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities. Lead SAP technical and application development workstreams across the solution lifecycle, including design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare activities Advise client technology and business stakeholders on SAP-enabled transformation priorities, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform, custom development, extensibility, and enterprise integration Oversee technical design and delivery across SAP development and integration components, including ABAP, application programming interfaces, middleware, OData services, Core Data Services views, and connected enterprise applications Define and apply technical architecture standards, development methods, and quality controls to support scalable, maintainable, and secure SAP solutions Lead integrated delivery teams and collaborate with functional, data, security, infrastructure, and business teams to drive execution, resolve issues, and align technical solutions to business process transformation objectives Contribute to practice development through proposal support mentoring and recruiting support.
