About the role

Our company is looking for a committed backend developer with an eagerness to challenge themselves. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP backend in order to develop and implement Product Information Management (PIM) solutions. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, design and implement solutions, and ensure the effective management of product data.

Job Details

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain PIM solutions to meet business requirements.
Customize and extend the functionality of Akeneo to address specific needs.
Ensure seamless integration with other systems and applications.
Work closely with business stakeholders and clients to understand product data requirements.
Design and implement data models, taxonomies, and attribute sets within Akeneo.
Create and manage data mapping processes to ensure accurate and consistent product information.
Integrate Akeneo with other enterprise systems, such as ERP, CRM, and e-commerce platforms.
Implement data synchronization processes to ensure data consistency across systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
Develop custom extensions, plugins, and connectors to enhance Akeneo functionality.
Implement business rules and workflows to streamline data management processes.
Conduct thorough testing of Akeneo configurations, customizations, and integrations.
Identify and address bugs, performance issues, and data discrepancies.
Create comprehensive technical documentation for Akeneo configurations, customizations, and integrations.

Requirements

National diploma or degree in software development or related fields
Experience with PHP, Symfony, MySQL, Docker and Linux
Experience and knowledge with web Services and handling integrations between different systems and platforms such as GraphQL/RESTful
Good coding standards (PSR) with design pattern experience and GIT version control
Akeneo PIM (Product Information Management) knowledge is an advantage
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
