Vocational Instructor

This vacancy is for a permanent, full-time vocational instructor in the automotive field, based in Riihimäki. The role involves working with students training to become automotive technicians, supporting and guiding them in hands-on tasks, and serving as a teaching partner to instructors. Additional duties include other tasks within the education department and student wellbeing, to be carried out in collaboration with teachers and the principal. The position is a daytime job with the primary work site in Riihimäki. We seek a person with at least a basic qualification in the automotive field and strong, varied practical experience in car maintenance and repair. Knowledge of electrical/hybrid vehicle maintenance is desired. Experience in mentoring is considered an advantage. In this role we help learners toward employment and further studies, providing skills to pursue their goals. Equality and respect are core values in daily work. The terms of employment and salary follow the collective agreement for private education administration and support staff. The task-based pay grade is 4, with a monthly salary of 2,319.19 EUR, plus experience-based supplements as per the agreement. A health certificate and a police clearance certificate are required before starting work. The contract includes a probationary period.
