Practical Nurse

We are seeking a professional and active Practical Nurse for permanent employment at Martinlaakson kotihoito, starting 1 October 2026 or by agreement. Your clients are elderly and disabled residents living in their own homes, so the work is mobile and autonomous. Daily duties include assessing patients’ condition, supporting independent living at home, providing basic nursing tasks and delivering holistic care. The job is two-shift with morning and evening shifts on weekdays and weekends. We value a positive attitude, motivation to work with older adults, customer‑centred approach, and good Finnish language skills with the ability to work independently in varying conditions. Travel to clients’ homes is by car, on foot or by bicycle; a driving licence and ability to drive are required. Prior experience in eldercare and home care is advantageous; Love medicine permit and Appotti knowledge are a plus. Training can be tailored to your background. The unit comprises a chief of service, assistant head nurse, practical nurses, nurses and a physician. You will work in a Multidisciplinary team where colleagues support and guide you. We can arrange interviews during the application period at the home care office.
