We are looking for a Principal Android Camera Engineer with deep expertise in Android Open Source Project (AOSP), C/C++, Qualcomm platforms, and camera/video systems. This is primarily a hands-on technical role for an engineer who is comfortable working deep within the Android platform stack and solving complex system-level issues. You will work closely with teams in North America and Europe, providing technical direction when needed. Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with significant experience in Android platform development
- Deep hands-on experience with Android Open Source Project (AOSP)
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ and native system-level development
- Strong understanding of Android platform internals
- Proven hands-on experience with Qualcomm chipsets and Qualcomm-based Android platforms
- Deep expertise in Android camera platforms and camera-related systems
- Strong experience with video and multimedia technologies
- Experience with graphics, composition, and/or display systems
- Strong system-level debugging and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently investigate and drive issues toward resolution
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with distributed engineering teams
