Chief Physician, Adolescent Psychiatry

We are seeking a permanent chief physician for adolescent psychiatry. Keski-Suomen hyvinvointialue operates a 12-bed acute unit for adolescent psychiatry. The reception services comprise a study team, care team, acute team, young adults team, and specialized treatment modalities. Our unit is actively developing its operations with modern psychiatric methods. A new modality has been introduced: skills training for emotional challenges delivered via a virtual platform for emotionally challenged youths. In your role you will serve as Chief Physician of the adolescent psychiatry clinic, and besides clinical work you will be responsible for developing care models together with other chief physicians in the unit. Your work is varied and multi-faceted and includes participation in the psychiatric on-call roster. The adolescent psychiatry ward is located at Sairaala Nova, and the reception services are on the hospital campus.
