Early Childhood Education Teacher

This is a permanent position as an Early Childhood Education Teacher at Tiedonjyvän päiväkoti, a municipal daycare in Vantaa, part of the Education and Learning department. The daycare was completed in 2021 on Jokiniemen campus near Jokiniemen School and Gymnasium, located in a well-connected area between Hiekkaharju and Tikkurila train stations. The role works in the daycare’s main home base, with one active group of children; the facilities have been designed with attention to acoustics, activity differentiation, and interaction among children of different ages. You will work as part of a three-educator team, with opportunities to influence the group’s approach. The daycare emphasizes a calm, warm, playful, and safe operating culture, underpinned by a patient, family-centered care approach and positive pedagogy through ProVaka.
