Full description is available in FI; translations provided from FI text: We are hiring a part-time Sales Assistant for S-market Merikarvia in a renewed store. The position is 28 hours per week and temporary until 30 September 2027, with start as soon as possible preferred. The role involves performing all typical retail tasks, including cash register duties, customer service, shelf replenishment, unloading stock, and maintaining store cleanliness. The job also uses digital tools such as a mobile device and back-end systems, for which you will receive training. Work is organized within extended opening hours across weekdays and holidays, in shift work. We work as a team towards common goals and successful customer interactions. We are looking for a positive, customer-service oriented person who can handle various tasks and adjust working hours as needed. The role suits someone who enjoys physical work and routine-driven days. Prior experience in retail is considered an asset. We offer standard, meaningful daily work with colleagues, thorough training, and ongoing support. The pay is based on the retail collective agreement, hourly wage between 11.16–14.93 €/h, with evening and weekend adds, and possible performance pay.
