Installation Supervisor / Responsible Site Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced installation site manager / responsible site manager for an independent and responsible role leading our construction projects in the Helsinki region. You will be responsible for the daily management of one or more projects simultaneously and ensure that work proceeds safely, to a high standard, on schedule and according to plans. Our buildings’ modules are manufactured in our factories and installed and completed at the construction site. You will manage the site comprehensively, be responsible for the site’s regulatory obligations, coordinate work phases and subcontractors, coordinate deliveries, and prepare the necessary site plans and documentation. You will monitor and report progress, resolve situations arising at the site, and participate in site meetings, reviews, inspections and handovers. You will work closely with project management, design, procurement, customers, subcontractors and our factories. There are no predetermined daily working hours. You will plan and organise your work independently according to project objectives and the phases of the sites. This gives you freedom, but also requires readiness to adapt the working day to the situation at the sites. You will work mainly at construction sites in the Helsinki region. The role also includes occasional visits to Parmaco’s factories in Hämeenlinna, Leppävirta and Pyhäjoki. A valid category B driving licence is required, but you do not need to own a car. You will do well in this role if: - You have a suitable higher education qualification in construction, such as a construction manager, construction engineer or Master of Science in Engineering qualification. - You have the demanding-class responsible site manager qualification or are eligible to apply for it, and have the competence to work as a responsible site manager. - You are familiar with the different phases of construction work and can prepare the necessary site plans and documentation. - You can lead and prioritise several projects and work phases at the same time. - You can lead subcontractors and cooperate smoothly with different parties. - You have an active and extensive construction-industry collaboration and subcontractor network. - You are practical and solution-oriented, and carry agreed matters through with determination. - Safety and quality guide your work. - You are comfortable with IT tools and communicate fluently in Finnish. Experience with school, daycare or other public-building projects, as well as modular, prefabricated-element or industrial construction, is considered an advantage. We also value the extremely demanding-class responsible site manager qualification, other language skills and knowledge of Dalux.
