Production Supervisor Pelikon toy factory Our client Martinex seeks a permanent Production Supervisor to join the toy production team. The role involves taking responsibility for the daily production flow of games and puzzles, together with the production manager. The position is new, giving you the opportunity to influence how the role and processes are formed. We are looking for a practical, proactive and action-oriented production professional who thrives where things happen. You should be prepared to solve problems, make decisions, and, if necessary, roll up your sleeves to help with production tasks. The role covers operative supervision, production monitoring, personnel management, planning and scheduling, orders tracking, equipment maintenance and repairs, problem solving with the production manager, quality control and supplier coordination, and development of daily production activities. We offer a meaningful and unique role in a fast-growing family business, with opportunities to influence daily work and future processes. Responsibilities include supervising production workers (machine operators, packers, forklift drivers), workforce planning and recruitment participation, production planning and communication to staff, order book monitoring and changes, coordinating machine/equipment maintenance and repairs, resolving production issues, quality assurance, supplier collaboration, and continuous improvement of production. Requirements include prior supervisory or line management experience (preferably in a production environment), solid understanding of daily production operations and the production lifecycle, familiarity with production control systems and scheduling tools, good Excel skills, ability to plan, prioritize and multitask, proactive attitude, problem-solving skills, strong teamwork and communication, willingness to work in changing conditions including hands-on production tasks, and beneficial knowledge of the packaging industry. A technical or production-related education is preferred; practical experience and common sense are valued.
