Logistics supervisor

We are seeking a systematic, collaborative and action-oriented person for the role of logistics supervisor/coordinator for our client. This person keeps the strings in hand and ensures daily operations run smoothly, acting as a key link between warehouse, production and customers. The days are varied, sometimes problems arise to be solved quickly and other times processes are improved. The most important thing is the right attitude: you don’t think these are only your tasks, but help others when needed and dare to ask for help. Your responsibilities include ensuring smooth daily operations with the warehouse, contacting various stakeholders by phone and email, daily communication in Finnish and English, using the production control system and Office applications, developing your own area, promoting safety, monitoring receptions and implementing improvements, and other tasks assigned by the employer. The role will be further defined as work progresses and you will have the opportunity to influence how the operations are developed. You should have good organizational, collaborative and communication skills, a flexible and proactive team mindset, fluent Finnish, sufficiently good English for customer communications, experience in logistics or manufacturing environments, basic proficiency with Office applications (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook), a strong safety mindset, initiative and the ability to manage multiple things simultaneously. English does not need to be your mother tongue; the key is being able to communicate with customers in writing. Knowledge of Lean, 5S and continuous improvement methods is a plus, but the willingness to learn and develop the operation is most important.
