Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking an eager healthcare assistant to join our team for home care in Tervakoski. The home care team works in the Tervakoski and Ryttylä areas. The position is permanent. We support the functioning of a home-dwelling client and enable home living according to individual needs. The services support clients in daily activities they do not manage independently, including medication management and monitoring, health promotion, personal hygiene and nutrition, and rehabilitation-focused care to maintain functioning. The qualification required is a suitable diploma under the Social Welfare Professional Staff Act 272/2005 § 8. Participation in medication management requires a valid LOVe license, which you can update/obtain within three months of starting. A driver's license and own car are necessary for performing duties. The job pays a base salary of €2813.24 per month, with additional experience-based pay of 3%–8%. Vacation accrues based on service time. Working hours are 38.25 hours per week. A criminal background check is required for working with elderly people. Salary and other terms of employment are determined by the SOTE collective agreement. A six-month probation period applies. Immediate patient- and client-facing duties require vaccination protection per Infectious Diseases Act and a TB-related certificate.
