CNC Machine Operator

Wellpack is seeking a CNC lathe operator for a client in Salo. The employer operates in high-precision machining and contract manufacturing, producing high-quality components for international industrial customers. You will work in a modern production environment with up-to-date machinery and advanced programming and manufacturing systems. Your duties include operating CNC lathes, setting up features, and quality assurance as part of a skilled production team. You will work with modern multi-axis lathes and participate in developing machining to your skill level. Daily tasks include producing parts per drawings, changing tools, taking measurements, and fine-tuning machine programs. The role suits both an experienced CNC machinist and a motivated candidate at the start of their career. Requirements include metallurgical industry training or prior machining experience; CNC turning skills; ability to read technical drawings; careful and precise work approach; ability to work as part of a production team; Finnish or English language skills. Optional advantages: experience with multi-axis lathes; CAM programming; Mastercam proficiency; experience with long turning; good handling of measuring instruments.
