Are you keen to work in project management tasks on unique automation projects and with the latest technologies in the field? An automation technology specialist company, Kaptas, is seeking a Project Manager for permanent employment in Turku. As a project manager you will plan, lead and monitor customer projects independently and in collaboration with the company's management. Your workdays will include scheduling, resource planning, risk management, customer meetings and project meetings, as well as other project communication. Most of our projects involve tailor-made hardware for customers, so the job is varied and you will work with a range of modern technologies in one-off customer projects. The successful candidate will manage machine and equipment projects both independently and with management. You will cooperate constructively with our own staff, customers and stakeholders. The role requires flexibility and the ability to work on several projects at once. While the job does not require detailed technical knowledge of every technology, we value broad competence in automation, including AI and other intelligent systems. Understanding the principles and practice of machine engineering and electrical, mechanical and automation design is useful. A suitable educational background is e.g. automation, machine design engineering or automation-focused engineering degree. We value diverse experience in technology project management and proficiency with MS Project. You will also need excellent communication and customer service skills: ability to produce clear project reports and presentations and to engage in constructive discussions with customers about project status. The role requires excellent written and spoken Finnish and English. Kaptas is a well-known automation expert with 25 professionals.
