Practical Nurse

We are seeking a registered practical nurse for a permanent position at Verkkosaaren group home in Kalasatama, Helsinki, starting 14.9. or by agreement. The home provides around-the-clock accommodation for adults with disabilities. Your role centers on supporting residents’ participation, well-being, and as independent daily living as possible. As a practical nurse you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, assisting and guiding residents daily, ensuring a good and safe daily life. Administration of medication and supporting residents’ functional capacity and autonomy are key duties. You will collaborate with families, social and health care professionals, and other networks. Documentation of client care and quality development are part of your responsibilities. You’ll need good collaboration skills, a responsible approach, and readiness to work in three shifts. Qualifications: practical nurse degree and registration in the Nursing register (Ammattihenkilörekisteri). Good spoken Finnish and adequate written Finnish. LO/Lov LOP license must be completed by the end of probation. A criminal background check for working with persons with disabilities is required by law.
