In Ylitornio, Lapin hyvinvointialue is recruiting a permanent dental nurse, primarily for a full-time position. Start date is 1 October 2026 or as agreed. The task of oral health care is to organize and provide high-quality, customer-oriented dental health services to the entire population of Lapin hyvinvointialue. Duties include operating in a centralized appointment system, with Ylitornio dental clinic as the work site, and occasionally working alongside the dentist in the Ylitornio dental health clinic. At Ylitornio dental clinic there are two dentists, a dental hygienist and two dental nurses; instrument sterilization is centralized; WinHit patient records are used. The successful applicant must have a dental nurse qualification or a practical nurse qualification from a dental care program and must hold a license to practice in Finland under the Health Care Professionals Act 559/1994. Proficiency in Finnish (spoken and written) is required. We offer thorough onboarding and support from the team and supervisor. We value responsible and proactive work attitude, initiative, flexibility and a willingness to continuously develop one’s own and the team’s work. We also expect good interaction and collaboration skills. Employment terms follow the Social and Healthcare Agreement. A six-month probationary period applies.
