Group Assistant in Early Childhood Education

Pilke aims to be the leading early childhood education provider in Finland by working together. We are seeking a Group Assistant in Early Childhood Education at Pilke Daycare Revontuli in Rovaniemi. The role suits someone who wants to apply their skills, develop ideas, and leave a personal mark on children’s day. As a group assistant you will support both individual children and the group, promote participation and autonomy, and collaborate with the rest of the staff. The position begins on 1 September 2026 or by agreement. Pilke Revontuli is a colorful and international daycare located in the heart of Rovaniemi’s services and close to Lapland’s nature. The duties include supporting both individual children and the group, assisting in activities, facilitating involvement and independence, and cooperating with other staff. The successful applicant will provide a police background check as required by law. We offer: a monthly salary of 2295.95–2525.69€ gross per month depending on experience (PK-seutu); a monthly salary of 2265.54–2490.35€ gross per month depending on experience (Other Finland); support for training and qualification according to 2030 eligibility; a community committed to acting in the child’s best interest; opportunities to work in a language-, physical activity-, science- and music-focused curriculum; and various employee benefits such as good occupational health services, outdoor jacket, bicycle, massage and recreation benefits.
