Waiter

We are hiring a waiter for Ukko Bistro & Deli in Pieksämäki on a permanent, part-time contract. The role offers about 40 hours over 3 weeks, with start date to be agreed. Ukko is located at Pieksämäki’s Old Rolling Stock Yard, a unique restaurant complex blending rugged ambience with quality cuisine. We serve lunch, à la carte dishes, café services and event catering at Veturitori. In Suur-Savo we work ordinary jobs with an exceptionally good team. Requirements: Restaurant experience and training are a plus, but we especially value genuine passion visible in all actions and a positive attitude. Genuine enthusiasm for customer service and a desire to create successful customer encounters. A positive attitude and cheerful, energetic work style. Ability to work smoothly both independently and as part of a team. Courage to upsell products based on customer needs. Flexibility for shift work. A bonus scheme that can add up to about 1.10 €/h. The salary follows the MaRaVa collective agreement (13.70–15.04 €/h), plus evening, night and Sunday supplements.
