Vaiha Oy is a family-owned restaurant company based in Mikkeli, operating since 2017. Vaiha restaurants include Vaiha Asema at Mikkeli railway station, Vaiha Pormestari on the inner courtyard of Mikkeli city hall, and the new Vaiha Elias at Kaukolan in Mikkeli, opened January 2026 for catering and dining. In the summer, terrace restaurant Pikku Pormestari operates in the inner courtyard of the city hall. We are excited and passionate about our work, and we aim to develop our operations by offering high-quality restaurant experiences for lunch, catering, and events year-round. We are opening a new order-lunch restaurant Vaiha Pitäjä in Rantakylä in August–September. As we grow, we are hiring a cook for a full-time permanent position. Your workstation may be Vaiha Pitäjä, Vaiha Elias or Vaiha Pormestari. The job includes evening and weekend work. We offer a diverse working environment and varied tasks. As a cook, your duties include food preparation, plating, dishwashing, and all other cook-related tasks.
