Truv is an approved verification vendor for both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and is backed by Kleiner Perkins.\nAbout the Job\nSelling to mortgage lenders isn't a transactional pitch; it's a consultative conversation about how verifications fit into complex origination workflows. The best AE at Truv is a product advisor first and a salesperson second.\nAs an Account Executive, Mortgage, you'll own the full sales cycle for mortgage prospects while earning credibility through genuine technical and operational depth. You'll balance two priorities:\n• Advise, Then Sell – Understand a lender's verification workflows well enough to design the right solution, then guide them to it.\n• Own the Number – Drive pipeline and close revenue across a defined book of mortgage accounts.\nYou'll work closely with Product, Solutions/Engineering, and the VP, Mortgage, to win and expand accounts.\nWhat You'll Do:\n• Consultative, Product-Led Selling: Lead technical, operations-grounded conversations with lenders, diagnosing verification workflows and mapping Truv's platform to their needs.\n• Full-Cycle Ownership: Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through technical evaluation, negotiation, and close.\n• Solution Design: Partner with Product and Solutions Engineering to scope integrations (POS/LOS), pilots, and rollouts that fit each lender's stack.\n• Pipeline Generation: Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through outbound, inbound, and relationship-driven sourcing.\n• Deal Navigation: Manage complex buying committees (operations, compliance, IT, and lending executives) through to signature.\n• Expansion: Grow adoption within accounts by identifying new use cases and workflows where Truv adds value.\n• Voice of the Customer: Bring workflow and product feedback back to Product to sharpen the roadmap and positioning.\nWho You Are:\n• 5+ years in B2B sales, with a strong track record selling into mortgage lenders or the broader mortgage ecosystem.\n• Genuine technical and operational depth in mortgage, fluent in origination workflows and how verifications fit in.\n• A product-advisor mindset: you win by being the most knowledgeable, helpful person in the room.\n• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.\n• Comfortable with technical evaluations and integration discussions (POS/LOS, APIs, pilots).\n• Comfortable getting hands-on with the product and technical documentation (demo.truv.com, docs.truv.com) and discussing technical aspects credibly with buyers.\n• Excellent discovery, communication, and negotiation skills.\n• Consistent record of meeting or exceeding quota.\nNice to Have:\n• Prior experience at a mortgage technology, fintech, or verification company.\n• Familiarity with VOIE/VOA/VOE and GSE programs (DU/AIM).\n• Hands-on experience with major POS and LOS platforms.\n• Experience selling in an early-stage or high-growth environment.\nBenefits:\n• Fully remote\n• Competitive salary and equity package\n• Health, dental, and vision insurance \n• 401(k) \n• Flexible time off \n• Work with cutting-edge technology and innovative customers\n• Opportunity to shape the future of financial data access\n• $140,000 - $160,000 a year\nBase Salary\nWe are an equal-opportunity employer committed to diversity.
