Cooks for the Christmas season gigs in Oulu area

Cook needed for gig work during the Pikkujoulukauden (pre-Christmas) season in the Oulu area. The role involves preparing high-quality food and ensuring smooth kitchen operations in various client kitchens from À la carte to buffet formats. Responsibilities include handling ingredients and prep, preparing À la carte dishes, buffet and event catering preparation, finishing portions and plating, self-monitoring, hygiene, keeping workstations clean, and cooperating with other kitchen and dining staff. We expect prior experience in restaurant kitchens, ability to work as part of a team and possibly independently, a proactive work attitude and good stress tolerance, and flexibility for varying shifts. A hygiene passport is required. We offer diverse shifts in the busiest venues of the season, flexible gigs, pay at least according to the Travel, Restaurant and Leisure sector collective agreement, a friendly team, and the chance to develop skills in different kitchen environments.
