Healthcare Assistant

We are looking for a healthcare assistant for a permanent position at the elderly care unit Rannikkokoti in Raum. Rannikkokoti has 60 resident places. Our operations are based on residents’ own resources and holistic care up to the end of life. Our goal is to provide each resident with a life that is their own and to support daily functioning and social relations. As a healthcare assistant you will be responsible for basic care and medication administration for residents and participate in meaningful daily activities. You will also prepare care and service plans together with the resident and their relatives, and perform RAI functional capacity assessments. The work is mainly on a three-shift schedule. We require: a degree as a practical nurse or equivalent, a valid professional competence certificate (Valvira registration), fluent Finnish (spoken and written), vaccination protection in accordance with Infectious Diseases Act §48, and prior experience with elderly care is an advantage. The successful applicant must present a criminal record extract in accordance with Act 741/2023 §28. The terms and salary are determined by the SOTE collective agreement; the job-specific salary is 2712.92 €/month. The position has no remote work option. A six-month trial period applies.
