Koneistaja Oravaisiin. We are seeking an experienced machinist for a permanent position in Oravainen for our client Carrot Pohjanmaa Oy. You will work on diverse and demanding machining tasks and participate in the production of large components. The role suits someone who thrives in independent work and has strong machining expertise. The client acts as a contract manufacturing specialist and delivers high-quality metal components and complete solutions for industrial needs. The position starts with a six-month fixed-term trial via Carrot, after which there is potential for permanent employment with the client. Working hours are 40h/week and we hope you are prepared for a 2-shift pattern. Start is as soon as a suitable candidate is found. Job description: Your tasks include varied machining mainly on larger parts. You will be responsible for executing machining according to drawings and ensure quality from start to finish. The role requires an independent working style; you will read and interpret technical drawings independently and program and operate machines with HEIDENHAIN controls. You are precise and thorough and take responsibility for your work. You can work independently, with a partner, and as part of a team. We value initiative and genuine interest in the work. Requirements: Experience in machining, proficiency with HEIDENHAIN and/or Siemens programs, experience in machining larger parts, good motivation and ability to work independently, Finnish language skills, CAM experience is an asset.
