Restaurant Worker

Become a restaurant worker in the meetings service at Porin Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna. We are looking for two part-time staff to work in the meetings and catering service, 20 hours per week, until the end of 2026, with a flexible start. The role involves ensuring smooth and attentive customer experiences, preparing meeting facilities, accommodating customer requests, setting up coffee service and lunch service, and participating in organizing various events and dinners in our meeting and banquet restaurant. The service is offered as buffet or table service, and includes beverage service. Customer events range from small, intimate meetings to large fairs, parties and weddings, so no day is the same. We value genuine hospitality, good interpersonal skills, and teamwork toward shared goals. You will take responsibility for successful guest encounters and ensure guests’ comfort from one meeting to the next. Prior experience in hospitality or customer service is an advantage. Salary is determined according to the MaRaVa collective agreement (13.70–15.04 €/h).
