Early Childhood Development Social Worker

The Development Social Worker for Early Childhood Education supports community, children's well-being, participation and a safe operating environment in Jokiuoman unit Laajavuoren päiväkoti. The role emphasizes preventing bullying, supporting children’s emotional and peer skills, and supporting parenting and its development. You participate in multidisciplinary teamwork and guide families to other child and family services when needed. Key areas include implementing early childhood education, wellbeing work focusing on social and peer skills, collaboration with families and professional teams, and evaluating and developing unit operations from a social-pedagogical perspective. The position requires knowledge of the early childhood guide and act, collaboration skills, and strong Finnish language proficiency.
