We are seeking an Operations Specialist to join our team for a fixed-term full-time position to support ground handling operations and resource planning at Ivalo Airport during the winter season. The role focuses on ensuring smooth daily operations and effective information flow between different stakeholders. The role also involves participating in operational tasks when required, with working time divided roughly equally between Operations Specialist responsibilities and operational duties. Key responsibilities include managing operational schedules and coordinating resources, ensuring effective communication between teams and stakeholders, maintaining and managing operational documents, handling invoicing and follow-up activities, liaising with premium customers and developing customer relationships, and performing other administrative duties. Requirements include fluent English, excellent communication and collaboration skills, a positive attitude and customer-service mindset, the ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment, previous experience in aviation, strong IT and digital skills, and a proactive and eager-to-learn attitude. We offer an interesting and diverse role in an international environment with a close-knit team that supports and encourages, and the opportunity to contribute to airport operations supporting Lapland tourism. The fixed-term full-time contract starts as agreed and runs until April 2027. Compensation is determined according to the Collective Agreement for Aviation Salaried Employees and the position is classified under TVL5.
