About the role

We are seeking an experienced lathe operator for our client in Lohja, Finland. The position is a temporary assignment of 2–3 months with a possibility to extend and potentially be employed directly by the client over time. The client offers accommodation in Lohja if needed. Core duties include programming and operating CNC lathes primarily on FANUC controls. GibbsCAM software and Okuma control system are in use. You will work with PUMA 2100 LSY live centers and PUMA 2600 and PUMA 5100 turning centers. Workpieces are aluminum and titanium, with diameters from 6 to 800 mm and maximum workpiece length up to 1500 mm. Requirements include a vocational qualification in machine and production technology, strong FANUC control experience, experience with PUMA 2100 LSY, 2600 and 5100 machines, and a valid occupational safety card and hot work card. Finnish and English skills are required. Knowledge of GibbsCAM and Okuma is a plus but not mandatory. We offer a salary in accordance with the collective agreement based on your experience and skills, plus necessary work equipment.
