The wellbeing coordinator role involves serving as secretary to the education committee and the welfare committee, preparing matters for decision, and supporting the development of residents’ health and wellbeing in line with the municipality’s strategy, legislation, and budget. The position includes developing municipal wellbeing services, monitoring overall trends in wellbeing and health promotion, preparing municipal wellbeing reports and plans, and collaborating with the wellbeing region and third-sector actors. Additional duties include preventive substance abuse work, impact assessments, leading the wellbeing group, organizing the elderly and disability councils, and acting as a contact person for social services transport. The role is in the welfare services unit with new facilities and good digital equipment; remote work is possible up to 60% after a six-month probation. OECD-level health insurance and Epassi are in place; pay and terms follow KVTES. The task carries a formal pay grade of 1ASI44C1 at 3525.14 €/month. Finnish language proficiency is required in speaking and writing. Expected start date is 1 November 2026 or by agreement; a six-month probation applies.
