T-DRILL Oy is seeking a purchaser for its procurement team who wants to develop supplier collaboration, strengthen supply security and build cost-effective solutions together with the rest of the team. As a purchaser you are responsible for your own supplier group and its long-term development. The core of your work is to strengthen supplier collaboration and develop the procurement overall. In your daily tasks you map, evaluate and select suppliers and plan and carry out negotiations and bidding processes. You are responsible for contracts and monitor costs, delivery reliability and quality according to agreed metrics. You will work closely with production, design and quality and ensure that the procurement chain operates smoothly. You will monitor markets, assess risks and develop the supplier network in a planned manner. You participate in developing the procurement process and implement development actions in practice. In addition, you are responsible for placing purchase orders, handling order confirmations and tracking deliveries so that the whole process stays manageable and transparent. This is a permanent full-time position with flexible working hours (6:30–9:00 / 15:00–17:00). The employment contract is made directly with T-DRILL Oy. Your main workplace is in Laihia and you have partial remote work option or occasional work at our Seinäjoki office. What are we looking for? We value experience in purchasing, logistics or supply chain tasks and understanding of supplier collaboration and contract negotiations. We appreciate the ability to view costs, delivery reliability and quality as a whole and to use systems and data to support decision-making. Your work style should be organized and responsible. You finish tasks and are prepared to adopt new ways of working. You communicate openly and constructively with different stakeholders, and teamwork comes naturally to you. To be successful in the role you need fluent Finnish and English as you will work closely with domestic stakeholders and international suppliers. What do we offer?
