About the role

We are looking for a Mechanic to join to our beverage can factory team in Hämeenlinna. Mechanic Mechanics ensure high availability and reliability of production machinery and equipment through ongoing technical support, performing repairs, conducting maintenance, and diagnostics. Canpack Finland Oy is part of the Canpack Group, a leading global manufacturer of aluminum beverage cans, packaging solutions, and metal closures. Based in Hämeenlinna, we bring together a diverse team of 150 professionals, all working together to: Create That Feeling! Main responsibilities: • Perform routine mechanical tasks: installation, maintenance, and repair of faulty mechanical systems, assemblies, or parts. • Perform preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment. • Monitor equipments' condition and report irregularities • Working with engineering drawings and specifications. • Document completed maintenance activities in accordance with maintenance procedures. Our expectations: • Vocational education, preferably in mechanics or machine construction. • Prior experience working in a similar position, but we welcome applicants who are ready to learn and grow into the role. • Prior experience or willingness to learn basic machining and welding tasks • You are comfortable communicating in English. • You can analyze and fix machinery breakdowns • You can work independently when solving problems • You are ready to work in shifts.
