Demolition Worker

We are looking for a skilled demolition worker capable of working independently. The work mainly consists of demolition of buildings and structures and cutting and drilling concrete and stone. Work is done at varying construction sites. Duties include: demolitions, cutting concrete/stone, diamond drilling and sawing, chiselling and other demolition tasks, stone breaking and handling of structures, use of demolition and cutting equipment, keeping the worksite clean and safe, complying with site instructions and safety regulations. We particularly value independence, initiative, and the ability to think for oneself. We are looking for a person who does not need constant supervision but understands what needs to be done, can solve practical situations, and ensures the job is done properly. Merely being present on site is not enough – we expect the worker to have real will to do the job and achieve a good result. Requirements: previous experience in demolition, construction or cutting/drilling concrete/stone; ability to work independently; good attitude and initiative; carefulness and responsibility; willingness for physically demanding work; understanding and compliance with safety; B driver's license is an advantage; prior experience in diamond drilling/sawing or other special demolition work is advantageous. Asbestos demolition skills and certification are advantageous. If needed, the employee can train to develop skills also in asbestos demolition.
