We are recruiting a social worker for Attendo Siilinhelmi in Siilinjärvi. The role combines resident care, rehabilitation, network cooperation and community development. The position may include team leadership responsibilities. You will support residents in daily life, provide psychosocial support, create individual service plans, participate in plan evaluation with residents and a multidisciplinary team, monitor functional development, and organize group activities to promote social skills and wellbeing. You will work in close cooperation with families, authorities and regional welfare actors, assist residents in obtaining services and benefits, act as IMO contact and develop decision-making practices with the team. Documentation and reporting are part of the role, and you will maintain calm in challenging situations, and collaborate with emergency services when needed. The position offers opportunities for professional growth, flexible scheduling and a supportive multi-disciplinary team. Requirements include a social work degree (a care sector qualification is a plus), valid medical licenses, vaccination as required by infectious disease legislation, hygiene certificate or willingness to obtain it within three months, fluent Finnish, criminal background check readiness, and the ability to obtain a social and health card. Desired experience includes mental health rehabilitation work, solution-focused and rehabilitative methods, independence and teamwork, responsibility and development-mindedness, positive attitude and humor, and experience supervising or mentoring others. We offer a supportive team, development opportunities, and flexible working arrangements. The employer follows the Private Social Service Sector collective agreement; salary level is G22D with local Ysos allowance of 85.77 €/month for full-time staff. This is a non-smoking workplace.
