Practical Nurse

The role involves medical care and supportive nursing tasks for residents at Esperi Koti Hopeinen Kuu, a mental health residential unit in Iisalmi. Responsibilities include medication administration according to residents' individual needs, assistance with daily living activities (household tasks, personal hygiene, laundry, meals, and external errands), and participation in daily and weekly schedules in collaboration with the team. The position is permanent and part-time (0-115 hours per 3 weeks) with a 3-shift rotation. We follow the private social services sector collective agreement. The ideal candidate holds an active registered nurse license or is prepared to obtain the licences at the start of employment, has good Finnish language skills, and can provide a criminal record extract as required. Experience in diverse social and health sector environments is valued. Advantageous are studies related to mental health work and a driven, proactive work attitude.
