Personal care assistant

As a personal assistant you join our clients' valuable stories. The role supports home- and community-based assistance for people in the disability service sphere. Tasks may include helping with hobbies or studies, household chores, or enabling leisure activities. Sometimes the most important task is to be a conversation partner and companion. The aim is to support and enable living at home for as long as possible and to uphold the client's autonomy. The job offers flexible hours and the chance to learn about disability work and care, with onboarding tailored to your skills, and a supportive, humorous work community. We welcome applicants who want to develop and grow, and there is potential to pursue further studies to work in other social and health care roles. Requirements include genuine interest in assistance work, positive attitude, willingness to learn, and sufficient Finnish language skills (other languages are a plus). We require vaccination under the Infectious Diseases Act and tuberculin testing, and will perform a criminal background check as part of social and health care supervision.
