We are currently seeking an experienced shearer for our client in Forssa for a long-term, full-time contract. The client is an internationally operating contract manufacturer employing over 900 people in Finland and Estonia. They offer diverse manufacturing services including mechanical and electronics production and their own products for industrial needs. In 2024 the company’s revenue was €97.2 million. The employer invests in a modern work environment, employee development, and wellbeing. The role offers varied shearing duties on metal plates and requires good physical condition due to heavier parts. Work week is 40 hours, Monday to Friday on day shift; readiness for possible 2-shift work in the future is valued. The job uses the Teknologiateollisuuden TES collective agreement, and pay is negotiable based on skill and experience. We value experience in sheet metal cutting, ability to read drawings, initiative, and good Finnish or English language skills. We offer a long-term and stable position with a modern, evolving work environment, comprehensive orientation, and support from experienced colleagues and supervisors. There is strong emphasis on safety and continuous improvement, and opportunities to influence process development. After orientation there is potential to work on contract-based projects.
