Head Coach

Join us in building Savonlinna Riento together! We are seeking professionals for three roles: head coach, discipline coach, and club coordinator. The positions can be taken singly or combined to form a full-time workload; part-time arrangements are paid by the hour, with possible monthly salary for full-time. 1) Head Coach: responsible for the overall coaching activities and their development. Approx. 15–18 hours per week. Duties include planning, coordination, supporting coaches, and developing coaching quality and common methods, with groups coached according to ability. Requirements include experience in coaching and developing coaching activities, SUL Coaching Certificate VT level 3 or equivalent experience, strong collaboration skills, and proactive, developmental mindset. 2) Discipline Coach: develops athletes’ technical skills in one or more of the following: sprints, vertical jumps, hurdles, endurance. Weekly hours 8–20. The role and groups depend on the applicant’s expertise and interest. Requirements: coaching expertise and drive to develop athletes, willingness to collaborate within the coaching community, proactive, developmental approach. 3) Club Coordinator: handles office and day-to-day operations; approx. 8 hours per week. Duties include managing member registry, coordinating registrations and inquiries, handling receipts, and event logistics for major competitions. Requirements: systematic, proactive approach, good collaboration and communication skills, interest in developing the club, ability to manage multiple tasks. We value collaboration, initiative and long-term development of the club. The role can be assembled flexibly based on the chosen candidate’s skills.
