
Procurement Professional
As our procurement and supply chain function has been growing alongside with the business, we are now seeking a Procurement professional to join our dynamic team in Papenburg, Germany. In this role, you will play a key role in executing the organization’s procurement strategy by managing sourcing activities, negotiating with suppliers, managing key contracts, and ensuring best value for the business. You will also be responsible for proactively identifying and investigating new sourcing opportunities. Although your projects are primarily based in Germany, you will also have an important role in our expanding operations in France. Main Responsibilities: Execute project procurement activities from end to end: sourcing, negotiating, and contracting with suppliers, with a focus on the German and French markets. Handle operative purchasing tasks to ensure material availability for projects: Create and process purchase orders in the ERP system. Monitor order confirmations, delivery schedules, and logistics. Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any delays. Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with project teams and customers to ensure smooth collaboration and successful project outcomes. Proactively investigate and identify new suppliers, sourcing channels, and cost-saving opportunities. Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to recommend the best sourcing strategies. Ensure compliance with company policies and project requirements throughout the procurement process. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with project goals. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the global procurement function. Required Skills & Competencies: Solid hands-on experience in procurement, ideally within project-based environments for over 5 years. Strong knowledge of the German market; experience with French suppliers and partners is a significant advantage. Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with a collaborative and proactive mindset. Proven track record of delivering value through sourcing initiatives and contract management Analytical and strategic thinking, with the ability to anticipate project needs and identify new opportunities. Fluent in English and German Relevant educational background in procurement, supply chain, or related field. Why Join Us?
