The vacancy is for a bilingual (Finnish and English) Early Childhood Education special education teacher at Y.E.S. Daycare, part of Vantaa City, Education and Learning, Early Childhood Education. The day care unit has eight groups, two of which are preschool groups, and operates in connection with Vantaa International School; up to 154 children. The teacher will assess children's support needs, plan and implement support, and evaluate support in collaboration with other staff. The role includes developing an inclusive teaching culture in the unit, guiding planning and evaluation processes, and coordinating with the day care leadership and various stakeholders. Requirements include strong special education expertise, collaborative and encouraging team attitude, appreciation of each child's individuality, and excellent Finnish language skills (written and spoken).
