We are looking for a dedicated early childhood teacher to join Havukallion day care in Vantaa. Havukallion day care comprises five groups and has recently renovated facilities. The role involves delivering high-quality pedagogical work in a multicultural, nature-oriented environment, supporting children’s emotional and language development, and collaborating with colleagues to create engaging learning environments. The successful candidate will have strong collaboration skills, flexibility, and a commitment to inclusive education. ProVaka operating model is used in the unit. The position is permanent and begins on 1 September 2026. We offer a supportive multi-professional work community, opportunities for professional development, and a range of staff benefits. Tasks include daily interaction with children, planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities, and participating in student supervision as needed. Requirements include excellent Finnish language skills (spoken and written) and a cooperative, growth-oriented mindset. The job will be 38 hours 15 minutes per week. Salary is based on the municipal teachers’ collective agreement with additional allowances for specific qualifications and prior teaching experience. In addition, moving allowance applies to permanent roles from outside the city boundaries of Vantaa.
