Job Details
Responsibilities
- Teach and guide students in vocational training programs for immigrants
- Personalise studies and act as a tutor and point of contact for students
- Assess student learning progress and strengths
- Engage in multidisciplinary network collaboration and planning with team and stakeholders
- Develop and continuously improve teaching and education in collaboration with colleagues and networks
- Support students with diverse learning readiness to achieve learning goals
- Share expertise with colleagues and participate in development projects
Requirements
- Qualified under the Finnish Teaching Qualification Act (A986/1998, 17a §, amended 1150/2017)
- University degree in a relevant field plus 60 credits or 35 credits of pedagogical studies
- TUVA-education familiarity
- At least B-class driving license
- Finnish language as second language (S2) is preferred during teaching
- Good digital skills and experience with digital learning environments (e.g., Moodle)
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
- Interest in developing work-life-oriented education
