Lapua city culture services are seeking a project manager for an international Interreg Aurora project: Biodiversity created by art, culture and cross‑sectoral collaboration. The project involves partners from Finland and Sweden, with Lapua city acting as the Lead Partner. The aim is to promote biodiversity through culture and art, strengthen cross‑sector collaboration, enhance learning, participation and wellbeing, and bring new content to cultural activities. The project manager will coordinate, implement and monitor the project. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating actions, communications, reporting and funding applications for Lapua; compiling international partner reports for joint reporting; and working closely with various city departments, educational institutions and associations. Requirements include a higher university degree or another suitable qualification; experience in project management and implementation (including reporting and communications); experience coordinating multi‑partner projects and leading multidisciplinary networks; good Finnish and English skills and proficient Swedish; knowledge of sustainable development goals and the arts/cultural sector; ability to produce learning materials; readiness to travel within Finland and Sweden for project activities. Preferences include experience in international cooperation projects, collaboration between cultural sector, rural associations and schools, cross‑departmental collaboration within a municipality, and access to a personal car. The job is located in the Lapua cultural services at Kulttuuri- ja yrityskeskus Vanha Paukku. It is a fixed‑term position tied to the project timeline (ending 28 February 2029).
