Electrical Commissioning Manager

Commissioning Manager · On-Site Electrical Commissioning Manager Location: UK Wide Rate: £450-£700 per day (Outside IR35) Contract Length: 12 Months+ We are supporting a leading engineering contractor delivering major energy infrastructure projects across the UK. They are seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Manager to oversee commissioning and energisation activities on HV infrastructure projects including substations, grid connections and renewable energy developments. Responsibilities: • Manage electrical commissioning activities from pre-commissioning through to energisation and handover. • Coordinate commissioning engineers, SAPs and specialist subcontractors. • Review commissioning procedures and test documentation. • Liaise with DNOs, National Grid, OEMs and project stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures. Requirements: • Proven experience as a Commissioning Manager on HV electrical infrastructure projects. • Strong understanding of substations, switchgear and transformers. • Experience managing commissioning programmes an d teams. • Previous involvement in energisation activities. • SAP experience advantageous.
