Education Assistant

We are looking for an Education Assistant for Mänttä-Vilppula city to work in the Savosenmäki school special education class for grades 0-9. The class has eight students and Mänttä-Vilppula’s Savosenmäki school is a approx. 280-student primary school. The position is permanent and starts 8 September 2026. Qualifications required: Education Assistant or Practical Nurse degree or other suitable education. Working hours are 30 h/week. We expect a strong pedagogical approach, positive and active attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ICT proficiency. The job requires ability to work closely in a team and collaborate with different actors. Terms follow the relevant municipal collective agreement; 1-month trial period applies. Please bring certificates proving qualifications to the interview. A medical certificate and a criminal record extract under Act 504/2002 are required before a decision is made.
