We are seeking an enthusiastic early childhood education teacher to join Kielon Daycare in Vantaa. The successful candidate will listen attentively to children and their guardians, contribute to an innovative, supportive, and collaborative work community, and value a warm and professional approach as well as teamwork. The role focuses on meeting the child and family in a meaningful and unhurried way, considering each child’s needs individually and with sensitivity. You will work in a three-educator model within a culture that appreciates creativity, interaction skills, and mutual support in changing everyday situations. A positive and inclusive attitude toward children and families is essential, and knowledge of a foreign language is welcomed. The daycare opened recently in February in western Valkoisenlähteentie, and forms part of a service unit including Lauhatien Daycare. Our learning environment expands beyond the daycare into nature, physical activity, culture, and outdoor spaces, with opportunities for environmental education. We value cooperation across the team and offer mentoring and opportunities for professional development, a safe and equal work environment, and meaningful impact through involvement with leadership. The job is full-time and permanent with a weekly schedule of 38 h 15 min. Employment terms follow the Municipal Teachers’ Collective Agreement (OVTES). Salary is 3129.46–3234.53 EUR/month, with supplements for qualifications and master’s degree, plus 3–8% experience allowance. To apply, submit your application through the city’s recruitment system.
