Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort is one of Finland's best-known and most talked about travel destinations. This family business, founded in 1974, is in Saariselkä, Lapland. Kakslauttanen hosts around 30,000 visitors each year, many of them from abroad. We are looking for a skilled and experienced pastry chef to join us for our winter season 2026-2027. Contract is seasonal, starting mid November until end of March 2027. We provide full hours, 112,5h/3week period. What we are looking for: * Strong previous experience as apastry chef * You will create together with us pastry recipes, main star of the recipe will be the products coming out of our own Kakslauttanen distillery. * You are also able to create your own cakes and other pastries, sweet and salty. * You are capable of learning and followingnew recipes (e.g. some traditional Finnish pastries). * You have great cooperation and communicationskills at least in English, Finnish languageis considered as an advantage. * Following Finnish hygiene standards (Finnish hygiene passport can be arranged by us) * Culinary school Education is a plus. * Stress management skills, during winter season days can be busy. In Finland, you are required to have a valid Finnish Hygiene Passport. The Hygiene Passport is valid for life, and we will help you obtain it. The cost of the Hygiene Passport is the responsibility of each employee. The location of the resort is in the middle of lovely nature, and here you also have time to enjoy nature and try different activities that you might never get to try otherwise. We have also a small gym for our staff, and possibilities to try cross country skiing and other winter activities. It is possible to rent an shared apartment through us, so it is easy to join us where ever you are coming from. Apartments are for two people. In terms of employment, we follow the collective agreement of the tourism and restaurant industry, and the salary is according to the agreement, considering the applicant's previous experience and education.
